About this role

We are looking for an organized and results-oriented Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of ICT projects from planning through completion.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are properly planned, executed, monitored, documented, and delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.

This role is well suited to someone with strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills who can work across both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Coordinate ICT projects from initiation through completion.
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop project work plans, schedules, task lists, and implementation timelines.
Break projects into manageable tasks and assign responsibilities to relevant team members.
Coordinate project kick-off meetings and ensure all stakeholders understand project objectives and responsibilities.
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements, meeting minutes, action items, and progress reports.
Coordinate multiple projects and ensure priorities are clearly communicated to the relevant teams.
Project Execution
Coordinate day-to-day project activities to ensure deliverables are completed according to plan.
Follow up with technical teams, developers, designers, vendors, and other stakeholders on assigned tasks.
Monitor project milestones and identify delays or dependencies that may affect delivery.
Organize regular project meetings and track agreed action items.
Ensure project requirements are communicated clearly between clients and technical teams.
Support the implementation and rollout of ICT solutions, software, websites, systems, and digital services.
Coordinate testing, user feedback, revisions, and final deployment.
Ensure completed deliverables meet agreed requirements before handover.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a key point of contact between clients and project teams.
Gather and document client requirements and expectations.
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding project progress.
Prepare project updates and communicate changes to timelines, scope, or deliverables.
Coordinate client meetings, demonstrations, reviews, and feedback sessions.
Manage expectations and ensure issues are communicated and addressed promptly.
Maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track project progress against approved schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
Maintain project trackers and status reports.
Prepare weekly, monthly, or project-specific progress reports.
Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up with responsible team members.
Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
Escalate significant issues to management when required.
Maintain accurate records of project decisions, changes, approvals, and deliverables.
Risk & Issue Management
Identify potential risks that could affect project delivery.
Maintain a project risk and issue register.
Work with relevant team members to develop practical mitigation and resolution plans.
Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues appropriately.
Document lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
Scope & Change Management
Help ensure project activities remain within the agreed scope.
Document requests for additional features, changes, or modifications.
Assess the potential impact of proposed changes on project timelines, costs, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate approval of significant changes before implementation.
Maintain accurate records of approved and rejected changes.
Budget & Resource Coordination
Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets.
Track project-related expenses and resource requirements.
Coordinate the allocation of personnel, equipment, software, and other project resources.
Work with management and finance teams to monitor project costs.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors involved in project delivery.
Assist with quotations, procurement requirements, and vendor coordination where necessary.
Quality Assurance & Project Closure
Coordinate project testing and quality-review activities.
Ensure deliverables are reviewed against agreed requirements.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) where applicable.
Track defects, revisions, and outstanding requirements.
Coordinate project handover and deployment activities.
Ensure project documentation is completed before closure.
Prepare project completion reports and lessons learned.
Follow up on post-project issues and support transition to the relevant operational team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Training or certification in project management is an advantage.
1–3 years of experience in project coordination, ICT operations, business operations, administration, technology, or a related environment.
Experience coordinating technology-related projects is an advantage.
Good understanding of basic project management principles and methodologies.
Good understanding of software development and ICT project lifecycles is an advantage.
Technical & Digital Skills

Proficiency with digital productivity and project-management tools is highly desirable.
