The Business Administration and Accounting Intern will work across several areas of the organization to gain practical experience in business operations.
The role combines basic accounting and financial administration with sales, marketing, research, customer engagement, and office administration.
You will help maintain accurate financial and administrative records, support sales and revenue-generation activities, communicate with prospective customers and partners, conduct market research, and assist with marketing campaigns.
The position is suitable for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional studying or trained in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or a related field who wants broad practical exposure to business operations.
Responsibilities
- Accounting & Financial Administration
- Assist with recording daily business transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, payment records, and other financial documents.
- Assist with tracking income, expenses, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Support preparation of simple cash-flow, sales, expense, and financial reports.
- Maintain organized accounting and administrative files.
- Assist with petty cash management and reconciliation under supervision.
- Support preparation of documents required for internal financial review.
- Help monitor payments from customers, clients, partners, or other stakeholders.
- Identify and report discrepancies or missing financial documentation to the supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Support the organization in identifying and reaching potential customers and clients.
- Promote the company's services, opportunities, and professional-growth initiatives to relevant audiences.
- Contact prospective customers through appropriate communication channels.
- Follow up with leads and maintain accurate sales records.
- Assist with preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct online and basic market research.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Google Sheets.

The following will be an advantage
